Wine Tasting at Matuško Winery

With its firmly rooted origins in the fertile soil of Dalmatia, Matuško Winery is renowned for its dedication to cultivating indigenous grape varieties such as Plavac Mali and Pošip on the slopes of the Pelješac Peninsula. This grape thrives in the Mediterranean climate, bathed in sun and cooled by sea breezes, resulting in wines of exceptional quality and character. The winemaking tradition of this winery dates back to 1997 when it began in a small winery in the Dalmatian village of Potomje. Thanks to family tradition, as well as the expertise of Mr. Matuško, it marked the beginning of Matuško wine's dizzying ascent. By combining family culture with their personality, primarily charm and playfulness, they gave a personal, unique stamp to their wines in this area, which the market has recognized countless times over the years and crowned with numerous awards, and visitors from all over the world have adored them, returning to this "church" of Pelješac wine.

Whether you're an experienced wine lover or a curious wine enthusiast, a visit to Matuško Winery promises an unforgettable journey through Croatian winemaking heritage, where tradition meets innovation in every sip.
